1. Nature of Service
True To You provides a DIY wax ring carving kit. Customers design and carve their ring using the wax model provided and send the carved wax ring back to us. We then cast the design in silver and deliver the finished product.
We are not responsible for the artistic outcome of customer-created designs.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract.
3. Orders & Payment
- All prices are listed in USD (unless otherwise stated).
- Payment must be made in full before shipment of the carving kit.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
If payment is declined or reversed, we may suspend or cancel the order.
4. Custom Design Responsibility
Since the final ring is created based on your hand-carved wax model:
- You are solely responsible for the design you create.
- Minor imperfections in the wax will appear in the final silver casting.
- We do not modify, correct, or redesign customer carvings unless explicitly agreed in writing.
- We are not responsible for dissatisfaction arising from design choices made by the customer.
5. Shipping & Risk
- The customer is responsible for securely packaging and returning the carved wax model.
- We are not responsible for damage or loss during return shipping unless the return label was provided by us.
- Risk of loss transfers to the customer upon delivery of the final ring.
Shipping timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
6. No Refund Policy for Custom Products
Because each ring is custom-made based on your carving:
- Orders are non-refundable once the kit has been shipped.
- Finished rings are non-refundable and non-returnable.
- Refunds may be considered only in cases of manufacturing defects caused solely by us.
7. Silver Casting Variations
The final silver ring may have slight variations in:
- Texture
- Finish
- Weight
- Dimensions
These variations are natural in handcrafted casting and do not constitute defects.
8. Intellectual Property
All website content including:
- Brand name "True To You"
- Logos
- Product photos
- Text
- Designs
are the intellectual property of True To You and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.
Customers retain creative rights to their personal ring design but grant us the right to photograph and use the final product for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless explicitly requested otherwise in writing.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- True To You shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product.
- We are not liable for allergic reactions to silver unless the material was misrepresented.
10. Assumption of Risk
By using the carving kit, you acknowledge:
- Wax carving tools may be sharp.
- You assume all responsibility for safe usage.
- True To You is not liable for injuries resulting from misuse of tools.
11. Data Retention
We retain your personal and order information only as long as necessary to:
- Fulfill your order
- Provide customer support
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
We do not store payment card details on our servers.
